Shipping Information
We ship exclusively with USPS unless special arrangements are made. We try to accommodate all of our customers, so if you’re one of the rare people who the USPS can’t deliver mail to your home – use our Contact Page or email us at support@blueriverwellness.com, and we’ll try to work with you to get your kratom delivered to you. However, there might be additional handling fees if another carrier is used to ship your purchase.
We ship Monday – Friday except for Federal Holidays when the post office is closed.
Here is a list of the holidays the post office is closed in 2024:

- Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Monday, Jan. 15
- Presidents Day: Monday, Feb. 19
- Memorial Day: Monday, May 27
- Juneteenth National Independence Day: Wednesday, June 19
- Independence Day: Thursday, July 4
- Labor Day: Monday, Sept. 2
- Columbus Day: Monday, Oct. 14
- Veterans Day: Monday, Nov. 11
- Thanksgiving: Thursday, Nov. 28
- Christmas Day: Wednesday, Dec. 25
We try hard to ship all purchases made before 12:00EST the same day. However, occasionally that doesn’t happen if your purchase is verified right at the deadline. So, if you absolutely need your kratom shipped the day you order it, make sure to check out well before 12:00 EST.
Shipping Fees:
We charge a Flat Rate Priority Mail shipping fee of $7.99, which typically arrives at your shipping address in 2-4 business days. All shipments from Blue River Wellness have a tracking number, which is emailed to you when the label is printed.
We recommend signing up for Informed Delivery on the USPS website. It’s free and you can elect to receive notifications for each step of your shipment as it travels through USPS, Day of Delivery updates, and more via email or text. Again, it’s 100% free and the best method we know to follow your package to its destination, which is you.
Express Shipping:
We do offer Express Shipping via Express Priority Mail, which USPS promises to arrive in 1-2 business days for a flat rate fee of $23.99. Typically, we’ve had good luck with Express Priority Mail, but occasionally it arrives later. Bummer, but there’s nothing we can do about it. Once we hand it to the post office all we can do is watch it.

BTW, regardless of the shipping method, Priority or Express Priority Mail, if your package arrives late, or is lost in transit, we’re very sorry but we can’t offer a refund – even for an Express Priority Mail shipping fee. We will provide any information we have about the shipment to help you get a refund from USPS, but it’s their responsibility once we hand your package to them.
Nevertheless, if your shipment is lost and you’re nice and cool when reporting it lost and ask us to help, most of the time we’ll ship a replacement at no extra cost – especially if you’re a longtime customer. Most of our customers have been with us for years, not just because we have some of the best kratom in the marketplace; rather, because of our commitment to customer service.
Lastly, we can’t ship kratom to you if you live in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Wisconsin.
Real bummer for us too, but the legislatures in those states have banned kratom. We strongly encourage you to write, email, and call your state legislatures and implore them to reverse these bans. We’d love to have your business, but you need to change your elected officials’ minds – or vote them out and replace them with more tolerant people.
Lastly, if you’re outside the USA, we can’t help you – sorry. We only ship to the USA. Why?
It’s a major hassle to ship kratom through customs and whatnot. We’re a small family owned business struggling to keep our heads above water just like most everyone else, and customs adds a level of complexity we can’t provide right now.
